Handara Golf & Resort Bali joining up with Rotary Club Bali Ubud Sunset are pleased to announce the RCBUS BOGIES for Bali Charity Golf event, to be held on October 29th-30th, 2021.

Rotary Club Bali Ubud Sunset (RCBUS) is a fundraising organization, and they have the inisiative to help the island. Looking at some problems that Bali faces nowadays, they have identified three of these problems: the lack of basic health care in Karangasem Regency, the devastation of the Wehea National Forest along with its wildlife and the culture of the Dayak who reside there, and the necessity to empower Balinese women to be able to work from their homes to help support their families.

This tournament purpose is to raise funds to help 3 charities such as Klink Bali Sehat, a clinic about to open in Culik in the Karangasem Regency. It will be the only large medical facility of its kind in that very impoverished area. Second is WAHEA Project, a group which is saving the rain forest, its wildlife and the Dayak culture in the WAHEA National Forest in Kalimantan. Third is RCBUS’ Sewing for Living Project where local Balinese women are taught sewing machine and crocheting skills in order to be able to work from their homes and contribute to their families’ well-being.

This charity competition will test the best of Bali’s golfers in a friendly but competitive environment. A tempting array of prizes include Motorbikes and White Goods. Open to all, this competition will showcase the beautiful Peter Thompson designed Mountain course meaning early booking is recommended as places are limited.
